Local file processing
Supported ToolRefinery tools are designed to read and transform the file you select inside your browser. For those tools, the source file is not posted to a ToolRefinery processing server.
The tool page identifies when processing is local. If a future utility requires different handling, that behavior should be disclosed before you provide the file.
No account required
The current public tools do not require an account to process a file or download the result.
Operational analytics
When operational analytics are enabled, they are intended to measure product events such as tool views, starts, successes, errors and coarse performance or file-size buckets.
Operational analytics must not include the selected filename, file contents, image pixels, OCR output, generated files or raw file metadata.
Browser resources
Some tools may download software or language data needed to perform work locally. For example, browser-based OCR can load recognition code and language data while keeping the selected image on your device.
